Active in the community

Active Business Communications and its staff are proud to support various national and local charities.

Through various events, our staff have dedicated hours of training to raise thousands of pounds in sponsor money for charities including Cancer Research UK, Breast Cancer Campaign and Children with Leukaemia.

In addition to this we also provide sponsorship and communication support for our nominated charity, Francis House Children’s Hospice.

“Opened on the 25th November, 1991 by the late Princess Diana, Francis House provides care for children and young adults with life threatening conditions.

The Philosophy of Rainbow Family Trust and Francis House flows from the belief in the sanctity of life and the dignity of the person. Whereas hospitals must focus on the curing of those who are ill, the hospice will focus on the care of those for whom a cure is unlikely.

For every hour the hospice needs £222 just to stand still – to pay for the fabric of the building, heating, lighting and so on, as well as paying for the care we provide such as nursing, physiotherapy and a whole range of specialist medical care.”
