Our fundraising

At Active Business Communications, we're proud of our fundraising efforts and look to support local charities as much as possible.

Francis House Children's Hospice 

As a company, we're planning to raise £1,000 this year for Francis House, a children's hospice based in Didsbury, Manchester, which provides care for children and young adults with life threatening conditions.

The team also have their own charities they like to support and we're also planning to raise £1,500 through other events including running the London Marathon.

Children In Need 2010

In aid of Children In Need 2010 the Active team held a Pyjama Day in the office... we're not sure if some of our colleagues rolled straight out of bed or not... you can decide for yourselves below!

The team raised £183.55 for this worthy cause.

National Three Peaks Challenge

Here at Active we're always looking for a challenge, and we may have met our match with this one! The National Three Peaks Challenge covers the highest mountains in Britain - Ben Nevis, Sca Fell Pike and Mount Snowdon - in under 24 hours! Some of us have signed up already, and others are busy racking their brains as to how to get the sponsorship money out of their friends...

We'll be doing all of this for charity, in the summer of 2011 - so watch this space!
