O2 Mobile Landline
O2's first step on the road to becoming the total communications provider of choice for business customers. Here's what they say about Mobile Landline;
"What is it?
A new service that allows customers to have a fixed number that goes straight through to their mobile.
Business people are spending more and more time away from their desks, offices and homes – Mobile Landline gives them the benefits of a mobile and fixed number – on one device.
No costly diverts. No hassle. No more missed opportunities.
With Mobile Landline, customers have one phone, one supplier, one bill and one voicemail box.
It’s easy to get up and running…
Customers can keep their existing BT fixed number by transferring it over to us. Or we can set up a brand new number for them – they can choose from a local ‘geographical’ number (starting 01 or 02) or an 0800 number.
Who is it for?
Business customers
- Smaller businesses can look larger and more established – having fixed numbers gives scale and credibility
- Large businesses can have that local touch – local fixed numbers can help bigger businesses seem approachable, contactable and just around the corner. This is especially handy for those who have field based people – sales, engineers and so on
Why should customers choose Mobile Landline?
- Attract more business
- Never miss another opportunity – no more missed calls
- All the benefits of a landline number without the associated costs and there’s no need to move equipment if a customer relocates
- Flexibility – customers can link multiple fixed numbers to one mobile and vice-versa
- Great online reporting and management – customers can see how many calls they actually miss and plan their people’s time more effectively. This is also useful for tracking marketing campaigns
How does it work?
Customers can have one fixed number that goes straight through to their mobile, but they can also choose to:
- Link up to five fixed numbers to one mobile. This is likely to appeal to customers who want to have a presence in several areas or have different numbers for different purposes – eg service and sales
– Customers will be charged for each fixed number - Link up to ten mobiles to one fixed number. This is known as a call group and is likely to appeal to customers who want a team to manage their inbound calls – for example leads going into a sales team
– Customers will be charged an additional monthly fee for each mobile in their call group.
