Palm Pre - Enable data for roaming

By default the data will turn off on a Palm Pre while roaming to prevent any unexpected data roaming charges. If you want to re-enable this in order to browse the internet or pick up emails then you can follow the instructions below.

From the home screen press the phone symbol in the bottom left corner to bring up the phone application on screen.

Tap the network (O2 - UK) in the top right corner to drop down the menu and then select Preferences. Scroll down until you get to the network settings.

Tap on the Disabled DATA ROAMING and when the menu appears tap on Enabled.

You will now see Enabled DATA ROAMING. Press the silver home screen button to minimise this application and drag it to the top of the screen to close it.
