How do I pair my handset to my car kit?
To pair your mobile phone to your Bluetooth car kit, ensure Bluetooth is activated on your mobile and your car engine is turned on.
From the phone, search for peripheral devices. (For more information, refer to the manual of your phone - Bluetooth section)
Once it is detected, your car kit model is displayed on your mobile phone screen. Click “pair”.
Enter the link code (usually 1234, but check the manual of your car kit if unsure) and select validate.
Your handset will now connect to the car kit and ask if you would like to connect automatically; choose yes.
You will now be able to make calls through the car kit.
How do I check if my handset is compatible with my factory fitted car kit?
In order to check whether your handset is compatible with your factory fitted car kit, you will need to contact you vehicle manufacturer to request the latest Bluetooth compatibility list they have. This should contain not only the handsets which are compatible with the kit they have installed, but also the required software level.
If you are unsure about which level of software you have on your phone, please call us and we can advise you how to find this on your handset.
Why can't I pair my iPhone with my Parrot car kit?
If you have any other handsets paired to your Parrot car kit your iPhone may not pair and you may see the error message "Cannot pair with Parrot CK3100". To resolve this problem you should be able to delete the pairing with the other phones, and then re-pair the iPhone. If it is the first phone to pair with the kit it should work correctly.
How do I resolve my Nokia E52 intermittently disconnecting from my Parrot CK3100?
If your Nokia E52 intermittently disconnects from your Parrot CK3100 try the following steps to try to resolve the issue. On the car kit delete the current paired connection. Then, with the car kit on and the phone's Bluetooth on and in discoverable mode, select Settings > Advanced Settings > Pair with Phone > Other phone. Select the Nokia E52 and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the pairing.

Key in *#06# - your IMEI will be the first 15 digits.
How do I extend my phone ringtone?
Type in the following code where VMN is your voicemail retrieval number and DELAY is the number of seconds you want the phone to ring for before it goes to voicemail.

How do I cancel all diverts?

Why does my BlackBerry not display the name of the person texting me?
There are 2 common reasons why the number of the phone texting you displays instead of the name (as saved in your phonebook). Firstly it is because their names isn't saved in your phone - to confirm this try calling the number. If the name is in your address book then it will appear when calling the number.
The other reason is that the country code for the BlackBerry is set incorrectly. To check this press the green call button (to access call logs) > Press Menu > Options > Smart Dialing. Fot the UK the country code should be +44 - if it is anything else then change it by clicking on the current number and selecting the correct country code.
How do I find the PIN and IMEI on my BlackBerry?
The PIN and IMEI can be found in 3 places. On the outside of the box the handset came in, underneath the battery on the label, and in the phone menu. To find it in the phone menu press the Menu key, scroll to and select "Options" and then select "Status". The PIN and IMEI will be listed.
Why do my missed calls not show in the phone call logs?
If after missing a call you are unable to see the missed call in your call logs, but you can see made and received calls, then the problem is likely to be a corrupt call log database. You can try to clear the database to see if this fixes the issue.
To do this, connect your device to your computer, open the Desktop Manager software and go into the Backup and Restore icon. Next hit the Advanced button. On the right hand side find the Call Log or phone Call Log database. Then you can click the Clear button. Doing so will erase all the entries in your call log but should resolve the issue for any future missed calls.
How do I check/change the message centre number?
On the BlackBerry press the Menu key > Options > SMS > Scroll down to the message centre number. Once changes are made press the back key and when requested click on Save to save the changes.

How do I check/change the message centre number?
The message centre number is preset on the SIM and not the device.
How do I copy numbers from my SIM card to my iPhone?
To copy numbers from the SIM card to the phone tap on Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendar > Import SIM contacts.
How do I soft reset my iPhone?
A soft reset should be used to try to resolve issues where programs are not working properly, or the device has frozen. To perform a soft reset press the home button and power button at the same time, ignoring the 'Slide to power off message'.
Once the Apple logo appears release both buttons. You can then turn on your iPhone again by pressing the power button.
How do I update/restore my iPhone if it has an issue?
1. Download and install the latest version of iTunes from www.apple.com/itunes
2. Connect your iPhone to your PC/MAC by the USB cable supplied in the box.
3. The iTunes application should automatically load on your PC/MAC. When loaded please verify that your iPhone is listed under ‘Devices’ on the left hand menu.
4. Right click your iPhone and a menu will appear. Please select ‘Backup’
5. iTunes will now Backup the contents of your device to your PC/MAC. The progress can be monitored using the bar at the top centre of the screen (next to the (<<) (>) (>>) controls for back, play, skipping and volume of songs/videos)
6. When completed please select the ‘Summary’ tab of your iPhone device.
7. Now press the ‘Check for update’ button in the middle of the screen.
8. If your iPhone updates at this stage please unplug and see if your issue has been resolved. If not please move to the next step.
9. If an update was not available and your backup was successful please press the ‘Restore’ button.
10. Your device will now restore itself to factory defaults. Progress again can be monitored from the bar at the top centre of the screen.
j. When this has completed please disconnect your device and verify that your initial problem has been resolved.
k. If your iPhone has now resolved your problem please plug your device back into iTunes.
l. Now right click your device from the ‘Devices’ menu and select ‘Restore from backup’. Progress again can be monitored from the bar at the top centre of the screen.

How do I check/change the message centre number?
The message centre number is read from the SIM card and cannot be edited on the device.
How do I enter the voicemail number?
The voicemail number is read from the mobile network and cannot be changed.
How do I activate my Palm Pre?
When you switch on your phone for the first time it will run a set up wizard asking you to perform the following tasks;
- Accept the Terms and Conditions for Palm services. You must do this so you can proceed.
- Create a Palm Profile.
- Agree to the Terms and Conditions about Location services. This will allow you to use the functionality provided by Google. It can be turned off at a later date.
- You will then be taken through a features demo showing you how to use and control the phone.
- Finally you will be sent a verification e-mail from Palm which you must verify for the profile to be functional.
